Everyday Ways To Prevent Wrinkles:

Think of your car’s paint exposed to the elements over a period of time, first becoming dull and then turning to rust. That same concept happens to our skin and to our health!

Sad yes, but impossible to overcome? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I am going to provide the following suggestions regarding what the body really craves nutritionally: in food, supplements, and skin care, in order to achieve the most optimal, youthful results possible, even affecting your muscle tone, hair, and nails!

We need to nourish our skin and body and feed it some of the following ingredients derived from food sources and also found in supplements as well as skin care. No, a Pumpkin Spice Latte and a slice of Pumpkin Pie aren’t the ticket (although tasty)! The list below is the journey we want to be on…

12 Ways To Prevent Wrinkles:

1. Pumpkin Enzymes:

Pumpkin enzymes are AHAs (alpha-hydroxy acids) that encourage gentle skin exfoliation. In addition they contain vitamin A (which stimulates the production of collagen). AHAs also provide vitamin C to help tone and brighten our complexion. These can be found, of course, in pumpkins!

2. Lutein:

Lutein is a carotenoid with reported anti-inflammatory properties. Current studies show that lutein has many benefits, especially on eye health. In particular, lutein is known for its improvement/prevention of age-related macular disease. In addition, oral supplementation of lutin, in a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial showed overall skin-lightening and tone improvement. You can find it in green leafy vegetables (e.g., kale, spinach, broccoli, peas and lettuce) and egg yolks.

3. Superoxide Dismutase:

This enzyme is knownto reduce free radical damage to the skin, therefore preventing wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots, and it also helps with wound healing, softens scar tissue, protects against UV rays. The best nutritional sources for these are cabbage, brussel sprouts, wheat grass, barley grass, broccoli, peas, tomatoes, mustard leaves.

4. Catalase:

While very similar to Superoxide Dismutase, this enzyme is found in green leafy vegetables such as kale, broccoli, cabbage, collard and turnip greens. Superoxide Dismutase and Catalase are not only fundamental, but indispensable to protect the capacity of your biological system against free radical attack (which is oxidative aging).

5. Collagen:

The best sources of collagen are a combination of fish, poultry, meat, eggs, dairy, legumes, and soy.

6. Carotenoids:

Carotenoids are beneficial antioxidants that can protect you from disease and enhance your immune system. You can find then in avocado, corn, egg yolks, kale, spinach, summer squash, pumpkin and yellow fleshed fruits.

7. Lycopene:

Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant with many proposed health benefits. Some of the benefits are: sun protection, improved heart health and a lower risk of certain types of cancer. While you can get a supplement, it is best to consume it through our food. You can find lycopene in tomatoes and other red fruits, like watermelon, papaya, pink grapefruit, and pink guava)

8. Resveratrol:

Resveratrol has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties  that may aid in the protection from diseases like cancer, Alzheimer’s, and diabetes. You can find resveratrol in red wine. It is one of the most powerful youthifying antioxidants, as well as is Astaxanthin! Astaxanthin is 6000 times more powerful than Vitamin C, which is essential for collagen and elastin production and repair!

“The Lotus Seed will actually repair old skin cell damage, such as lines and wrinkles..”

9. Hyaluronic Acid or Hyaluronate:

These are necessary keys to our skin’s moisture barrier and holds 1000 x’s their weight in water. Look for Hyaluronate in skin care, as it is a smaller, more easily absorbable source of Hyaluronic Acid, beneficial to our hydration and skin volume for plumpness.

The more plump the skin looks, the younger it appears! Here are some natural ways to hydrate nutritionally: celery juice watermelon, cucumber, strawberries, cantaloupe, peaches, oranges, non-fat milk, broth soups, zucchini, grapefruit, and coconut water. Supplementally look for your Hyaluronic Acid, as it is also a lubricant for bones, cartilage and joints for ease of movement, as it plumps the skin from within! There are even supplements which combine Hyaluronic Acid with Astaxanthin. Hydration and free radical defense at the very same time! That is a powerful combination.

10. Essential Fatty Acids:

Essential fatty acids (EFA) refers to those polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) that must be provided by foods because we cannot synthesize them in our body. And, they are necessary for health. You can source these in: mackerel, pecans, cod liver oil, flax seeds, cold pressed olive oil, walnuts, salmon, chia seeds, olive oil, pumpkin seeds, eggs, sardines, spinach, papaya and brussel sprouts.

11. Ceramides:

Ceramides are essentially the glue that holds our skin cells together to keep our skin barrier intact and healthy. These can be found in blueberries, broccoli, tomatoes, garlic, oily fish, Brazil nuts, olive oil, avocado,

12. Sacred Lotus Seed:

The Lotus Seed is used internally as well as externally, clinically proven to resist and defy the aging process, able to live up to 1288 years. The Lotus Seed will actually repair old skin cell damage, such as lines and wrinkles, loss of elasticity, loss of hydration, dull skin, uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation and prevent new damage from coming. Just don’t be fooled by the Lotus flower, available in many skin care products and supplements. It is only the seed, that actually contains a youth-changing DNA Protein Repairing Enzyme! How else can you receive the benefits of Lotus Seed in your diet? By eating them (there are some great recipes online) and ingesting them through supplementation, but do look for highly sourced Lotus Seed. Really do your research.

The Science Behind The Lotus Seed:

UCLA scientists made a startling discovery when they set out to test the legend of the Sacred Lotus. They took Lotus Seeds over 1288 years old and planted the ancient seeds. Just four days later, the ancient seeds sprouted into healthy, young Lotus plants. The seeds had resisted the aging process for over 1000 years!

The scientists discovered antioxidants and the first protein repair enzyme (methyltransferase) within the Sacred Lotus Seed. Dermatologists tested the line I represent, Sacred Lotus Seed formulas & found:
    •    Lotus reversed visible wrinkles by 50%.
    •    Increased elasticity 82%.
    •    Reduced pore size 60%.
    •    Made skin look much younger!

Proper Skin Care:

There are so many incredibly effective ways through a healthy diet (including the ingredients above), highly sourced supplementation and the proper skin care, (which must be targeted to the specifics of your skin and health by a specialist) to melt off those years, right before your eyes! Are you ready to Youthify now today? What are you waiting for? No time like right now! Let’s do this together!!!
